Unit 27 enters a new era as founders Rob and Dayle Hallam reunite in Phuket for the first time in five years — bringing renewed energy, investment, and vision back to Fitness Street.
After five years apart on opposite sides of the world, Unit 27’s founders, father and son Rob and Dayle Hallam, are back in Phuket together for the first time in half a decade. And with that return comes something bigger than just presence, it marks the beginning of a new era for Unit 27.
This place was never built to be average. From day one, it was about creating an environment that pushes people further — physically, mentally, and as a team. That standard doesn’t come from equipment or programming alone. It comes from leadership, from vision, and from the people behind it.
Now, that energy is back at the core.
We took our foot off the gas, but we’re back
This isn’t about reinventing Unit 27.
It’s about doubling down on it.
With Rob and Dayle both on the ground, there’s a renewed focus on what made Unit 27 what it is today — while pushing forward into what it can become next. More time, more investment, and more intention is being poured back into every part of the business. From the training floor to the coaching team, from the class experience to the community — nothing is being left on autopilot.
Expect to see continued upgrades across the gym, new ideas brought to life, and a stronger connection between the people who built this place and the athletes who walk through the doors every day.
Because Unit 27 has never just been a gym.
It’s a standard. It’s a mentality. It’s a community built on hard work and accountability.
And now, with its founders back side by side, that standard is only going one way.
Forward.
