Songkran at Unit 27 this year was nothing short of electric.
An incredible 134 members showed up, decked out in their loudest, brightest festive shirts, ready to celebrate Thailand’s biggest holiday the only way we know how — with sweat, teamwork, and a serious dose of competition.
Kicking Things Off: Games, Energy & Team Spirit
The morning started with a series of fun, high-energy games designed to break the ice and get everyone moving. Laughter, water, and chaos filled the gym floor as teams battled it out, setting the tone for what was to come.
But as always at Unit 27… the fun doesn’t last long before things get serious.
The Main Event: 3 x 12-Minute AMRAPs
Once the games wrapped up, it was time to get to work.
Teams pushed through three brutal 12-minute AMRAP sessions, combining strength, engine, and grit. It was classic Unit 27 programming — tough, relentless, and built to test every athlete in the room.
Every rep counted. Every second mattered. And the competition was tight.
The Final Standings
After an intense morning of competition, it all came down to the final scores:
Yellow Team — Dominant from start to finish, taking the top spot
Red Team — Secured second after a dramatic final showdown
Blue Team — Pushed all the way to the end, finishing strong
Red and Blue were neck and neck, ending in a draw for second place — which meant one thing… a final battle.
The Final Battle: Veterans Step Up
Stepping up for the decider were team captains Harry and Luke — both long-standing Unit 27 members and true veterans of the gym.
In a head-to-head showdown, they left everything on the floor. Experience, grit, and pride were on full display… but in the end, Harry came out on top, securing second place for the Red Team.
