About Basic Lifting
Basic lifting is a class in which we teach the class participants how to correctly and safely move through a range of motion with a barbell focusing on power lifting movements. The movements that we cover are the dead-lift on Mondays and the back squat on Fridays.
The main focus in this class is to get stronger and move better.
Class Time Frame:
- 60 Minutes
- Work time – 60 minutes
Maximum Number Of People:
- 12 people
- Open to all levels

Basic Lifting Extra Information
In these classes we spend some time making sure everyone in the class knows how to correctly do the full movement where after we then let them complete the required work, whether it be an EMOM or just building up to a heavy set of 3.
Once the main lift is complete the class then focus on accessory work which is programmed to make the lift that we’re focusing on, even stronger. The accessory work is normally done as a low heart rate work piece which normally contains 3 rounds done for quality.
